I can’t wait for you anymore. I’ve stood by you through your worst, held your hand and told you that you deserve better. You take my best and leave me with nothin to show for it. All the times you’ve told me you wish we could be, created a fable in my head that maybe this time would be different, but I know better now. It’s just another lie to keep me around. Taking advantage of the fact I’d do anything for you finally has broke me in two. I cant handle your come and go story. I can’t stand around and wait for you to make up your mind anymore. Although it may be the hardest thing I’ll ever have to do, I have to turn my back and walk away. The bottom line is I can’t be just your friend. Maybe one day we’ll meet again, until then i’m sure everyday will be a struggle but at least I’ll know longer worry about someone who doesn’t worry about me.
